black women empower collective

About...

The Black Women Empower Collective started in 2016 as a community interest group, with hopes to inspire black women within our community. As a group, we seek to explore, encourage, and affirm the empowerment and solidarity of the sisterhood of the African diaspora by recognizing the historical resilience of Black womanhood, fostering economic development and entrepreneurship , and nurturing social and cultural enrichment for the betterment of Black women. Our goals are to host educational, cultural and social programs that will enlighten the minds of black women; provide black women the opportunity to learn more about social service opportunities within their local community; and encourage networking opportunities that can motivate young black women to seek out and create their own sister circles.
